BUILDING INDEPENDENCE & CONFIDENCE

Our 10 day summer camp offers you the chance to expand your parkour training in an exciting and adventurous environment. Located in the French alpine village of Morzine, our beautiful location offers fantastic access to mountain & water sports with clean fresh air and healthy local food. Jon lived in Morzine for a ski season back in his snowboarding days and finds it one of the best mountain villages in Europe. For 10 days we will explore the Morzine-Avoriaz area to improve our parkour and enjoy an action packed variety of sport, exploration and team building activities.

Our superstar coaches; Ed Scott from the UK, is one of the worlds top parkour athlete and will be developing the technical aspect of the students parkour skills. Peter Barron is an experienced Irish strength and fitness coach with a passion for raising the level of youth sport. Jon Dean understands the importance of eating right for your sport in young developing athletes and will be taking care of the students nutritional needs.

CAMP ONE is from Wednesday 19th June - Friday 28th June (Jeddah - Geneva)

The team will meet and travel together from Jeddah to Geneva on the same flight. Jon and Heba (and additional coaches) will bring the group through Geneva airport and travel by private shuttle to the famous ski resort of Morzine, France (1.5 hrs form Geneva). Morzine is part of the Portes de Soleil ski area which is one of the largest in the world (600 km of pistes) and regularly hosts the tour de France. In the summer this becomes the home of mountain biking and action sports. We have the cosy “Cairn Lodge” set in the grassy base of the mountains, with shared bedrooms, cosy living areas and balcony’s looking out into the mountains. Healthy cook Jon and his chef brother Andy will be providing breakfast each morning, a packed lunch, afternoon snack and healthy, home cooked dinner. Morzine and the surrounding villages are all linked by chairlifts, gondalas and a local bus service.

The summer camp is designed to build confidence, social skills and independence through an action packed schedule of sports, local exploration & team building activities

A typical day;

7am - 7:30am wake up and breakfast at 8am

9am -12 Morning activities

1pm Lunch

2pm - 5pm Afternoon activities

7pm Dinner

8pm - 10pm Own time in the house or garden (it is light till late during the summer) & team games

DAY 1: Travel, arrive, relax, eat, play & first team building exercise in the Forest

DAY 2: Morning Parkour session & afternoon trip to the top of the mountain

DAY 3: Mountain Biking tour // evening parkour

DAY 4: Morning Parkour // Afternoon at the lake (water sports)

DAY 5: Morning parkour // Afternoon white water rafting

DAY 6: Morning team hike & parkour at the top of the mountain // Afternoon lake sports

DAY 7: Morning Parkour // Afternoon high ropes course

DAY 8: Travel back to Jeddah
